1. Particulate Filter Cartridge

• Function: This is the most common type of filter cartridge, primarily used to remove solid particulate impurities (such as metal shavings and wear particles from seals) from oil.
•  Material: Typically uses glass fiber as the filter media, featuring high filtration accuracy (up to 1-5μm), large dirt holding capacity, and low pressure differential.
• Installation Location: Usually installed at critical locations such as the EH oil pump outlet and the oil inlet of the oil actuator.

 

2. Reclaiming/De-acidification Filter

• Function: Primarily used to remove acidic substances and moisture from oil, adjusting the oil's acid value and resistivity.
• Material: Typically uses ion exchange resin or adsorbents such as activated alumina or diatomaceous earth.
• Note: This type of filter usually needs to be used in conjunction with a cellulose filter to prevent adsorbent powder from contaminating the oil.

 

3. Coalescing Filter

•  Function: Specifically designed to remove free water and emulsion water from oil.
•  Principle: Utilizes hydrophilic materials to coalesce tiny water droplets into larger droplets, which then settle and separate, thus maintaining the oil's insulation and flame-retardant properties.
